Yes, you need to contact us to let us know that the date of Removal has been changed. 24 hours prior notice would be recommendable so that someone else can be booked into that time.
Absolutely no, you will not be charged however you need to still contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel so we can have the booking time available for others..
Bookings can be made 2 to 3 months prior and up to 1-day before the removal date. We recommend you to book your moving date 2 to 3 weeks in advance. However, don’t feel hesitant to call us on the day if your removing needs an urgent call.
It is our customary policy to give you a call the day before and confirm our arrival time with you. Generally, we like to start loading at 8:00 am.
Once the Quotation is given to you, our Public Relation Officer will explain how the Removal will take place and how long the Crew would take for the Removal task.

- Studio to one-bedroom apartment takes between 2-4 hours to pack.
- Two bedroom house usually takes between 3-5 hours to pack.

- Four bedroom house roughly between 8-12 hours to pack.
- Five bedroom house approximately takes between 10-12 hours to pack.
- Fold your bedding and leave on beds ready for packing. If you wish and have chosen to have your packing done for you the packers will take your valuables straight from shelves and cabinets.
- With our insurance regulations, removal companies will not carry inflammable.
- Garden tools, lawnmower etc should be cleaned and left ready to be loaded.
- Ensure that all food items are tightly sealed or packed.
- Disconnect any fixtures and fittings you wish to take with you.
- Retain all personal papers and documents before putting your items into storage.
- Washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, freezers should all be disconnected on the day before your move.

Yes, it’s up to you to ensure that there is suitable access and parking for the moving truck at both pickup and delivery addresses to avoid any delays on the day of the move and to avoid potential parking fines. We advise you to contact your local council office to arrange permits if required.
Please note that you will be responsible for payment of any tickets/fines if the Driver incurs a parking fine on the day as you have not provided adequate space as mentioned above.
The CT Movers crew members will arrive in uniform, 2–4 men, all of which is previously agreed to with you. The Driver will introduce himself and you will be requested to sign a job sheet as confirmation of the start time.
The Driver will check the premises with you and apprises you if something has to be taken care of. Make sure you point out every item that needs special care or are fragile, these need to be packed in cartons separately.
Any items that have to remain on your property should be clearly identified and distinguished so they are not taken by mistake. We prefer these items to be placed together in another room.
Once all your items have been packed and loaded, it’s best for you to inspect your property to ensure that everything has been removed.

If you chose to pack your own boxes and now the time is running out, simply call the office and we can send assistance to pack the remainder for a small fee per carton.
Please inform the office IMMEDIATELY. Your valuables can be stored at our company’s warehouse till you get into the new property. No fee is charged for keeping the goods in the warehouse.
Once the delivery is done, our crew will come with the paperwork as to how you would like to pay for the account. We accept Visa/Mastercard, personal cheque, bank cheque, internet transfer or cash. Once the account is paid, you will be issued with a receipt.
During transit, if you think that one or more of the items that we have moved has been damaged; note it on the job sheet BEFORE you sign it. This step will not be replaced by any other written or verbal step in the communication process.
Pay your full moving cost as agreed. Upon receipt of your completed claim form, a customer representative will call you within 72 hours (business days) to acknowledge the claim and discuss.
